Prohibited trading practices

Review practices prohibited on every Perps account and the consequences of a violation.

Practices designed to game evaluations, evade risk limits, exploit the platform or hide who is trading are prohibited. The same policy applies to every Perps account.

Prohibited practices

  • Cross-account hedging: Holding opposite positions across accounts so one side wins, including your own accounts, evaluation against funded accounts, or accounts held by others.

  • Group trading: Coordinating with other traders or using spare accounts to push an evaluation through or shield a funded account.

  • All-or-nothing gambling: Repeatedly buying evaluations and trading maximum size until one passes by chance.

  • High-frequency trading: Sending large numbers of orders in very short periods instead of trading direction.

  • Latency arbitrage: Using a faster external price feed to trade against the platform.

  • Stale or incorrect prices: Knowingly trading frozen, delayed or clearly incorrect prices.

  • Platform exploits: Gaming fills, slippage, liquidations or mark price, or profiting from a bug instead of reporting it.

  • Order manipulation: Spoofing, layering or trading against yourself to create artificial activity.

  • Quote stuffing: Flooding orders, amendments or cancellations to stress the system.

  • Account sharing: Allowing another person or paid service to trade your account.

  • Automated trading: Bots, expert advisors and other automated trading.

Consequences of a violation

Violations can result in trades being removed, profits adjusted, payouts denied or accounts closed. Serious or repeated violations can result in a ban.
