Your drawdown: the only risk limit

Learn how the static Instant drawdown works, how your floor is calculated, and when an account closes.

On Perps Instant, your account must stay above its static drawdown floor. If account equity reaches that floor, the account closes.

How the floor works

  • Floor = starting balance − selected drawdown.

  • The floor is static: it does not move upward when you make a profit.

  • It is checked in real time. Losses on open positions count.

  • If your account touches the floor, the account closes and open trades close at market.

Example: $100 drawdown

One-time fee

$100

Starting account size

$2,500

Account floor

$2,400

Balance after a $300 profit

$2,800

Room above the floor

$400

The floor stays at $2,400. Every dollar of profit you retain adds a dollar of room above it.

Other policies still apply

Instant has no daily loss limit or profit target. The prohibited trading practices policy still applies to every account.
